COVID 19 pandemic poses serious threats to the endangered mountain gorillas just like it does to their cousins, the human beings.
We talked to Bashir Hangi, the Communications Manager at Uganda Wildlife Authority and Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka, a veterinarian and founder of Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH), organization that promotes biodiversity conservation by enabling people, gorillas and livestock to coexist about how COVID 19 pandemic is impacting the gorillas and communities close to habitants of gorillas.
